Vito's suite of built-in moderation tools make it straightforward to protect and respect your participants' safety and privacy in the hub.
Every Vito hub has a code of conduct baked in, which participants are required to accept before they join. We've provided a template to get organizers started, but we encourage you to make it your own. Here are some points you may want to consider:
Refer to online spaces rather than physical ones
Be specific about what constitutes a violation, especially in relation to online-only behaviours (e.g. sharing screenshots without permission, posting dangerous or inappropriate links, etc.)
Make it clear how to report a violation — Vito has a built-in feature to accommodate this
Provide details of how violations will be dealt with by the organizing team
Clarify how to identify organizers (e.g. with a moderator badge on their profile/posts, rather than by a particular color t-shirt)
