A Quick Guide to Sketchnoting

Perhaps you've seen someone flowingly capture the essence of a talk, torn on whether to watch them or the speaker. Or maybe post-conference, you've used the sketchnotes folks have shared as a roadmap of which talks to revisit. Sketchnoting melds words and images to create documents that often can stand on their own to teach and serve as references. In this session, you'll learn how to construct a sketchnote, how to handle information overload, and how to create great work with NO DRAWING SKILLS.
James is a Software Engineer for Advanced Systems Group LLC at Google, where he helps develop Android training content. Before his current role, he designed mobile and web programs at Udacity, teaching hundreds of thousands of students how to code.
